	Aker Solutions – VTScada Case Study – Aker Solutions provides products and services to the global energy market. In this oil & gas case study Neil Gow of Aker’s Subsea Controls Division chats with Trihedral UK’s Keith Donaldson about the Subsea Monitoring and Control System (SMACS) that they developed based on VTScada software by Trihedral. For over 25 years, this mission-critical application is used in over 150 systems around the world to allow operators on offshore oil platforms to monitor and control equipment at wellheads on the seafloor. In the North Sea alone this VTScada application is responsible for approximately one-third of oil production.
