General Numeric with Label

The General Numeric with Label widget is similar to the Numeric Value widget, but by default will include the linked tag's description as the label. Any alternate label may be specified.

 

The properties dialog for the Numeric Display with Label object:

Value Alignment

Select whether values should be right, center, or left-aligned within the frame.

Label Alignment

Select whether the label should be right, center, or left-aligned within the space assigned to it.

Show Units

Select whether units, as configured in the linked tag, should be shown.

Label on Right

If selected, the label will be placed to the right of the value instead of its default position on the left.

Display Label

Deselect if you prefer to show only the value, without an identifying label.

Digits after Decimal

Controls the number of digits to be shown. Does not recognize the display configuration of linked I/O tags.

Custom Label

By default, the linked tag's description is shown. Use this field to specify an alternate label.

Box Width

Small -> the box displaying the value is the same size as the widget's bounding box.

Medium -> the box is approximately 1.5 times the width of the bounding box.

Large -> the box is approximately 2 times the width of the bounding box.

Label Width

Sets the space, in pixels, of the area available for the label. If there are more characters than will fit in the available width, they will be scaled to fit.

Disable Options

Disable selected operator-interaction features of this widget.
