Read-Only DMZ Server

Requires Multiple Licenses

A safe way to share process history and protect Thin Client connections.

For many, remote access to their SCADA system and its data is essential. Hosting read-only servers in a DMZ is an excellent way to mitigate the risks of doing this. Making this a Thin Client Server allows thin-client users to make read-only connections without jeopardizing servers behind the firewall. The DMZ server can also be a backup in the event the OT network is compromised.

The Read-Only Workstation setting prevents any user from performing control actions.
Use HTTPS or a VPN to secure communications between thin clients and the server.
This is also a secure way to share data with third-party business systems.
