More Attendees, Seminars, Training, and Awards
On January 16th and 17th we held our annual VTScada Users’ Conference in Orlando, Florida. Integrators, consultants, and end users from around the globe came together to up their SCADA games in a focused setting with plenty of time to share their experiences with their peers. We are proud to say that this year was bigger and included plenty of new activities and resources.
More Seminars – This year included even more in-depth presentations by VTScada experts on specific aspects of system development such as situational awareness, cybersecurity, and advanced troubleshooting. Integrators learned how VTScada can make them more competitive, offer more to their customers and increase their revenue streams.
Training Courses – Once again, we offered advanced VTScada training on the two days before VTScadaFest. Demand for these courses was so high that we had to keep adding more right up to the start of the conference. The conference provides a great training opportunity for busy developers who don’t have time for our standard 4-day courses.
New Workshops – This year we added hands-on workshops where attendees could try new concepts for themselves. The breakout hit was the VTScada Configuration Challenge where participants strove to perfectly reproduce an operator dashboard using VTScada’s built-in graphic development environment. The winner took home a GoPro Hero camera.
Developers’ Den – Once again, there was a continuous stream of users eager to chat one-on-one with the developers and engineers who create and support VTScada.
A Night Out – Right across the street from the venue is the world-famous Howl At The Moon piano bar where everyone relaxed after a very full day.
VTScadaFest Awards – This year, we also presented Top Sales awards to the following integrators and OEMs (in alphabetical order):
- BettsM Controls (Reseller)
- Blackrock Automation (Integrator)
- MPE Engineering (Integrator)
- MR Systems (Integrator)
- Sanders Company (Integrator)
- Xylem (OEM)
Sam Black of EMC won the GoPro Hero for winning the VTScada Configuration Challenge!
Building Personal Relationships – “Our ability to build trust with our customers has set us apart in this industry for over 32 years,” says Trihedral president Glenn Wadden. “This opportunity to spend quality time with our developers puts a face on our software. That helps our users feel confident that they can create customized solutions that will last for decades.”
