This property is not part of the Application Configuration dialog.
May be defined in the case where you are using Smart Card Support, you have multiple certificates, and you want the system to use one certificate automatically rather than present a selection dialog.
The property value is assigned a "match" string, which is compare against the User Principal Name (UPN
User Principal Name) in certificates found on the Smartcard. For example: *.trihedral.com
The wildcard characters "*" and "?" are supported with their usual meanings. If the entry is not present or invalid, no field matching is done and cards with multiple certificates will see the certificate selection dialog.
If there are multiple certificates on the card and there are no UPN matches, or there is more than one UPN match, the certificate selection will be presented.
