Restart Required

Some configuration actions will not take effect until the application is restarted. After making such a configuration change, you will see a Restart Required symbol on the title bar and in the VAM.

You can continue to run your application until a restart is convenient, but no further configuration actions are permitted until the application restarts.

Actions that will trigger a Restart Required situation include:

• Changes to properties that are designated as "Restart Required".
• Using the Import File Changes tool in the VAM to import certain types of new code, such as updating a custom-coded VTScada report.
