The ability to hide page notes is controlled by the security privilege, Page Note Hide.
With one click of a button, you can hide all the notes on a page. This may be very useful when notes cover system controls or other display items. The Hide button is not visible when there are no page notes.
- Click on the Hide Page Note button.
- Click a second time to reveal the notes.
- Click again to hide the notes.
- Navigate to another page, then return to the page where your note is displayed.
Your note should no longer be hidden.
VTScada assumes that page notes exist for a reason - hiding them is meant to be a temporary action.
The Hide Page Note button will only be displayed if there are Page Notes on the current page. If there is no Hide / Show Notes button, there are no notes on this page.
Troubleshooting:
- The Hide Note button is disabled.
a) There are no Page Notes on the current page.
b) You do not have the security privilege required to hide the note. Check with your supervisor.
