Installing / Uninstalling the Trihedral TSP and Modem Audio Driver
The Trihedral drivers are installed on your system when VTScada is installed. The TSP driver installs silently on all versions of the Windows® operating system, but you may need to confirm that you want to install the modem audio driver.
If dialogs similar to the following are shown, you should select "Install".
To verify that the modem audio driver was installed, you may view the Windows Device Manager dialog. Each modem has one audio driver installed, shown as a "Voice Modem Wave Device". The following image shows how this would appear where three modems have been installed:
To Uninstall:
- Locate the VTScada files in Program Files (or Program Files (x86) if running 32 bit).
- Under this folder, locate ModemUpdate.
- From an elevated command prompt, run Modem update in this location with the option -u (ModemUpdate -u . )
Alternatively, the Modem TSP driver can be uninstalled using Device Manager to uninstall the drivers, and the Advanced tab of the phone and modem control panel to uninstall the Modem TSP.
